When they tried to pull it out, they were shocked to see her head pop up.

According to the reports, the shocking incident came into light after the Clinic's owner Doctor Abdul Rahman called in plumbers to unclog the pipes passage after he noticed some kind of blockage in the toilet, Mirror Now reports.

Because the placenta of the baby was intact, there was a possibility that the mother delivered her inside the washroom, local media NDTV reported.

A shocking incident has come to light, where a body of two-day-old girl child was recovered from the toilet of a house in Kerala. As informed by the maid, Abdul Rehman called in the plumbers to clean the toilet commode. The parents allegedly brought the girl in for a consultation and flushed the baby down the toilet.

An investigation is now underway and police are trying to find the newborn's parents, who are believed to have fled. A case of unnatural death was filed on the doctor's complaint, but the parents have not been identified yet.

"There wasn't much of a foul smell emanating from the toilet", a sub-inspector of the Nattukal Police Station told The NewsMinute.

The cops are verifying all the records of patients who recently visited the clinic. The body hadn't decomposed when we recovered it. "Seeing the colour of the blood, the domestic worker mistook it for muddy water", the police said, according to The News Minute.

The baby's body was shifted to a medical college where post-mortem procedures were completed.
