Mohamed Salah wants to rewrite Liverpool's record books but admitted he would swap all of his goals if it means he becomes a Champions League victor.

Asked which he would prefer, the PFA gong or the European Cup, Salah told reporters: "I have no doubt. the Champions League".

Salah then scored his 30th goal of the Premier League campaign before Firmino rounded off proceedings with one of his own a few minutes from time.

"Salah deserves to be crowned Footballer of the Year and to carry off the Premier League's Golden Boot but a bigger picture has emerged that is more important than all of that now".

Liverpool would double their lead on 69 minutes, with Mo Salah (of course) netted his 40th goal of the season via a clever header over Begovic after a fine pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold.

After the adrenaline rush of completing a 5-1 aggregate win over Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday there was a danger that the visit of Eddie Howe´s Bournemouth might be an anti-climax.

"Liverpool then have a home game against Stoke and I would encourage Klopp to rest his front three for that one and have them ready for what will be a hard game at the Stadio Olympico in Rome".

"It is a great feeling, of course it is a great feeling, but in the end I am just happy to score and help the team", he told United Kingdom newspapers. I'm also sure Tottenham's players try to help Harry Kane and also Manchester City's try to help Sergio Aguero'.

He added: "It's also very close, it's just seven goals".

"Playing like this is great, it's just great and scoring these goals is really good - 300 is really a massive number, to be honest", said Klopp.

"Second-half I though we improved greatly, I thought we were well in the game until a brilliant second goal from their perspective kills the game".

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp acknowledged on Friday that the forthcoming tie with Roma would be at the forefront of fans' minds, but his immediate priority of securing a top-four league finish was evident by the fact he made just one change to his team.
