Petrobras apresenta proposta para ceder controlo de quatro refinarias

A estatal confirmou nesta quinta (19) que pretende vender até 25% de sua capacidade de refino, como parte de seu plano de desinvestimentos.

A Petrobras estuda a privatização de quatro de suas 13 refinarias no Brasil, sendo duas delas no Nordeste e duas no Sul.

O presidente da Petrobras, Pedro Parente, explicou que a proposta ainda não está fechada e foi aberta à discussão pública pela importância estratégica para o fornecimento de combustíveis no Brasil.

A Petrobras estuda vender 60% da atividade de refino nas regiões Sul e Nordeste do País, com a atração de parceiros controladores diferentes para cada um dos blocos de ativos, que incluem ainda dutos e terminais, e prevê que a conclusão das operações deva ocorrer apenas em 2019.

As parcerias incluiriam duas refinarias (Abreu e Lima e Landulpho Alves) e cinco terminais no Nordeste, onde a capacidade de processamento é de 430 mil barris por dia (bpd), enquanto no Sul, cuja capacidade de processamento é de 416 mil bpd, seriam duas refinarias (Alberto Pasqualini e Presidente Getúlio Vargas) e cinco terminais.

"O reposicionamento da Petrobras pode gerar novos investimentos no setor de refino", disse o diretor-geral da ANP (Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis), Décio Oddone. No entanto, após evento que reuniu representantes do setor na Fundação Getulio Vargas, no Rio, ele comentou que as cifras serão elevadas.

A empresa sublinhou que mantém intacta a sua participação de 100% nas outras nove refinarias e em 36 terminais, que possui no resto do país. A venda de refinarias enfrenta grande resistência de sindicatos de trabalhadores da companhia. Mas em 2010 a fatia foi comprada de volta, diante da insatisfação da sócia com perdas provocadas pelo represamento nos preços.
