The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make their first public appearance as a married couple on Tuesday, alongside Prince William and Kate. The newlyweds arrived at Buckingham Palace in London to attend an afternoon garden party in honor of Prince Charles, ahead of his 70th birthday in November, reported CNN.

More than 6,000 people involved with charities supported by Charles are also attending the party in the vast palace gardens. And speaking of weddings, the lovely asymmetrical Philip Treacy hat that Meghan wore for Charles's 70 birthday party at Buckingham Palace was very similar to Kate's slanted topper at Meghan and Harry's nuptials, only without the floral elements. Members of the emergency services of Manchester had also been invited, a year to the day after the suicide attack perpetrated in a concert hall of this city in the north-west of England, who had left 22 dead.

At the event, Harry gave a short speech about his father in which he said that the prince's "enthusiasm and energy are truly infectious". "You have inspired William and I, and looking out here today, it is clear to see that we are not alone".

"Sorry, that bee really got me!" he deadpanned after taking a moment to collect himself mid-sentence, to the laughter of those at the party. Once seated, the new Duchess of Sussex leaned over and opened Prince Harry's door for him.

Meghan looked particularly regal at the garden party held at Buckingham Palace donning a peach dress from British brand Goat, a custom hat by Philip Treacy and nude pumps.

Jennifer Gehmair, Royal Family etiquette expert, told Smooth Radio, "Turning your back to the Duke and Duchess and taking a selfie is discouraged if at all possible".

Prince Harry was wearing a traditional morning suit with a yellow waistcoat and blue tie.

But it wasn't Meghan Markle's stunning Givenchy dress or the royal wedding guests that got the world talking this week, as the couple released their official royal wedding photographs.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall reveals the groom's relatives scrambled to make last minute changes as Meghan's dad, Thomas Markle, pulled out of plans to walk his daughter down the aisle at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday (19May18) due to health issues.
