Live action just isn't something you see these days from big, AAA publishers, which makes the mystery around The Quiet Man all the more interesting.

There was very little information on it, other than the implication that it has a pretty complex backstory and what seems to be a tone more similar to Dark Souls than Bayonetta.

Kingdom Hearts III is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One January 25, 2019 in Japan and Asia, and January 29 in North America and Europe. The teaser was a odd mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf.

"The Quiet Man" is from "Prey" developers Human Head Studios, and we can expect to hear more in August, according to the teaser trailer. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link.

What was Just Cause 4 doing here? We got a small look at the beautifully rendered, ridiculously named Octopath Traveler for Switch next month. There is no word of a release date.

Dragon Quest XI was also looking very good, with great graphics and an interesting, somewhat Zelda-esque, open world. The dialogue was pretty terrible though and it wasn't made any better by the British-accented voiceovers. Final Fantasy XIV is crossing over with Monster Hunter World in an attempt to trap the worst people.

After an exciting day full of announcements from Microsoft and Bethesda on Sunday, Square Enix is kicking things off on Monday with its first E3 press conference since 2015.
