Cyberpunk 2077 Story Details Revealed

One of the biggest reveals is that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a first-person game, with the studio leaving behind the third-person camera that it used in the Witcher series.

We learn about the protagonist V, that players can shape however they want, some information about the story, and plenty about gameplay, which will be in first-person perspective.

Create Your Own Cyberpunk - Your name is V, and you can be anyone you want to be. According to the developer, a thorough character creator will allow players to choose V's gender, appearance, character class, as well as historical background. We got a chance to see Night City in the trailer, but it's described as a unsafe metropolis in a future where corporations rule everything.

However, the progression system's contents are centered around three styles of play that do closely match three specific pen-and-paper classes: Solo, Techie, and Netrunner. At the start of the game you're not picking any of those classes. Players will experience all of it entirely through V's eyes, with an interactive dialogue system that gives them greater narrative agency. The choice is always yours.

- ...and enter the most decadent megacity... For example, there's a street cred stat that lets you open up even more of the open world.

There will be a lot to explore too, with 6 unique districts in the city to explore and find your way around. If players aren't happy with their starting apartment, it sounds like they'll be able to use their "blood money" to invest in additional properties.

Jack In, Run the Net - Night City is fully connected and offers countless cyberspace access terminals.

You're Worth What You Have - The world of cyberpunks is all about your gear. During missions, you'll clash with hostile netrunners defending corporate megabuildings-both in cyberspace and in the real world.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a full day/night cycle. Offering dozens of activities like side quests and Street Stories, the game is a good fit for both hardcore completionists and gamers who like to focus on instant action.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
