That G7 photo: Who’s trumping whom? It’s perspective, stupid

Later on Saturday, after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said all seven nations had signed a joint communique at the end of the summit, Trump angrily lashed out on Twitter, stating the USA would not endorse the statement.

A photograph of world leaders from the Group of Seven nations with the most advanced economies surrounding Donald Trump, first shared on German Chancellor Angela Merkel's official Instagram account, went viral on social media over the weekend, inviting a flurry of jokes and multiple caption contests.

Despite Mr Trump's actions, the UK, France and Germany have insisted they will stand by the commitments made at the summit.

Paris also delivered a withering response to the USA president's tweeted instruction for American officials to withhold their endorsement. "Other states will surely follow", he said in a statement. We are sticking to them and whoever reneges on them is showing incoherence and inconsistency.

The picture, snapped Saturday by German government photographer Jesco Denzel, shows a standing Merkel with her hands firmly planted on a table staring down at Trump, who is seated with his arms folded and eyes glaring.

Last year, the U.S. president was wowed by a French military parade in Paris after being invited to join Mr Macron for his country's annual Bastille Day celebrations. That picture was, we were waiting for the document.

Despite tensions over Trump's intended trade tariffs the U.S. and its G7 allies had put on an apparent show of unity at the end of the tense summit. Her interview came about a day after Trump refused to endorse the G7 summit's communique that called for reducing tariff barriers. "Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy!" According to the Census Bureau, the European Union had a $101 billion trade surplus in goods and services with the USA past year and a $30.3 billion surplus in the first quarter.

Europe will not let Trump do "whatever he pleases", the German chancellor said, adding that "we will not allow ourselves to be deceived again and again".

The interior ministry said in a statement that the unveiling of the plan had been pushed back because "several points still need to be agreed".

The German leader also reiterated that said she is not ready to "give up on G7" but at the same time would seek dialogue with Russian Federation and try to "work very closely" with Japan, Canada, India and China.

Russian Federation was expelled following Vladimir Putin's annexation of Crimea in 2014, which Mr Trump characterised as "something happened a while ago".

It would be silly not even to listen to offers, but it should take something extreme to cause the Suns to part with the top pick. The Grizzlies, however, still have Marc Gasol and Mike Conley and can afford to trade down in the draft if it means more assets.
