Now, if you're chatting via Snapchat, you can take back the message and preserve your dignity.

As things stand, users can currently clear conversations from their own side, but if you send a message by mistake or send something that you regret, you can now elect to remove it for everyone in the conversation. All you have to do is press on the message, photo, or video that you want to delete and then select the delete option on the pop-up.

Snapchat was already a fairly private way of messaging since it deletes messages once they are seen and the notifications do not reveal the contents of the message.

Snap has also announced that its second-generation Spectacles are now available on Amazon.

When a message is deleted, other users in the same chat will be notified that a message was deleted. This latest feature is built with the original spirit of Snapchat in mind, as gives users more control over the "permanence" of their messages.

Once the message has been deleted, other users in the chat group will be notified.

Now, you can delete messages straight away, whether they've been viewed or not, meaning that it's super simple to unsend snapchat messages.
