E3 2018: Ubisoft Announces Transference

Transference will come with full VR availability on PSVR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.

Though announced a year ago, not much was known about Transference until Ubisoft's newest trailer dropped at E3 today.

"With 'Transference, ' we're bringing a first-person exploration game into a chilling new dimension", Wood said. For now, check out Ubisoft's debut trailer below to have a look at the game before it sets down later this year. The live-action storyline will shift between three different perspectivesm as you unravel the mystery at the heart of the family.

Transference isn't the kind of game one would normally associate with Ubisoft.

This game is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and SpectreVision. Instead, Transference takes players on a dark and unsettling journey through a corrupted digital simulation, built from the consciousness of a family. And it won't just be a VR game, as it was originally announced: Wood and game director Benoit Richer said during the show that it's also coming to traditional platforms.

It's upon you to uncover the secret of the family and make their lives better by exploring maze-like puzzles. This is no RPG, you stumble into Raymond's experiment with your own experience and must interpret events for yourself.
