President Donald Trump declared the biggest enemy of the United States to be "the Fake News" in a tweet on Wednesday.

After giving Gregory the last word on the negative impact Trump's media-bashing has caused, Blitzer brought the segment to a close while rebuking the president's tweet. His comments also mimic those of Richard Nixon who claimed repeatedly that the Free Press was America's enemy.

"So amusing to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN", Trump tweeted this morning. "Everybody is always criticizing us and not happy with our coverage...it's another thing to say it's not North Korea, it's not Iran, it's not Russian Federation, it's not China, it's journalists, like us, who are the enemy of the American people". "Our Country's biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!" he tweeted. 500 days ago they would have begged' for this deal-looked like war would break out. He tweeted Wednesday that "there is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea" as a result of his work, and he has been critical of the press for its general disparagement of the summit.
