NBA Rumors: Lakers Asked Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma To Ease Up On Social Media Roasting

The back-and-forth ribbing went on throughout their rookie season, escalating from tweets and Instagram posts to Kuzma's recent Bleacher Report "Player Hater of the Year" Award video making jokes at Ball's expense and Ball's response with the track titled "Kylie Kuzma" released on Monday.

Los Angeles Lakers players Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma traded jabs on social media throughout their rookie season, roasting each other for their outfits, sneakers, haircuts, and everything in between. Instead, the team's priorities appear to be getting hijacked by a seemingly petty but distracting issue over the friendly social media razzing between Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball.

"Although Kuzma and Ball are close friends, the Lakers had grown concerned about the increasingly personal nature of some of the recent roasting between two of their young stars, sources told ESPN", Shelburne said.

Per the report, there are "no lingering issues" between the 2017 National Basketball Association draft classmates, and that both have "agreed" to take their social media barbs down a notch.

In a February interview with ESPN, both Ball and Kuzma said that their public taunts were good-natured and that neither of them took the insults personally. The day after that report, the young Lakers had nothing but nice things to say on Twitter.
