The Duchess of Sussex attended the christening of her new nephew Prince Louis this afternoon in a belted olive green Ralph Lauren dress and hat by Stephen Jones.

The Duchess of Cambridge sported the special Air Cadets Dacre broach for the service, which sat on her Alexander McQueen coat dress, the same style she wore to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.

Making a surprise appearance at the service was the Duchess of Cambridge who is now on maternity leave.

While Megan, the now Duchess of Sussex opted for a black fitted Givenchy dress, channelling her inner Audrey Hepburn. It is the best accesory'. A spokesperson from Buckingham Palace says that the cadets presented the brooch to the Duchess as a gift following her appointment as Honorary Air Commandant of the organisation.

The newlyweds greeted the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, ahead of the christening service and Meghan, who shot to fame as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits, was caught on camera giggling as she greeted the man who officiated her wedding in May.

The Duke and Duchess will also visit DogPatch Labs, a co-working space for technology start-ups, where they will meet children and young people taking part in workshops, and talk to female tech entrepreneurs.

Catherine's parents, her sister and brother-in-law Pippa and James Matthews and her brother James will also be in attendance.

Noticeable absentees were the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

However, Her Majesty was joined for the day of RAF Centenary celebrations by the rest of the Royal Family.
