Alabama lost its second former four-star linebacker in as many days when the school announced Tuesday that junior Terrell Lewis has sustained a torn ACL.

It's a tough blow for the junior linebacker, who missed 10 games last season after suffering an elbow injury in the team's opener against Florida State.

"Terrell Lewis suffered a torn right ACL last week while training", coach Nick Saban said in a statement. In the four games in which he competed, he compiled 10 tackles (two for loss) and an overtime sack in the national title game against Georgia.

"He underwent successful surgery today, and a timeframe for his return is unknown at this time", Saban noted, per Charlie Potter of BamaOnLine.

Lewis later addressed his surgery on Twitter, saying his surgery went well.

One of Alabama's rising stars has suffered yet another setback.
