'Castle Rock': Full Trailer for Hulu Series From Stephen King

The latest Castle Rock trailer is chock full of references to the acclaimed author's most famous (and more obscure) stories, which makes sense for a Hulu horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse.

And then there's Castle Rock-the highly anticipated King-based miniseries that started generating buzz as early as a year ago, when sci-fi/fantasy heavyweight J. J. Abrams signed on as co-executive producer.

There are nods to It, Cujo, and many more King titles as the trailer runs on, all appropriately set to the eerie tunes of Ricky Nelson's "Lonesome Town".

Per the series' official synopsis, "Castle Rock" is "a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse" and "is an original story that combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of ME woodland". Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller - a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

Inspired by Stephen King's many published works, Castle Rock stars Bill Skarsgård - best known as Pennywise in the 2017 remake of King's It - as a mysterious man discovered at Shawshank State Prison.

If you're intrigued, then you're in luck-Castle Rock will kick off on Space and CraveTV on July 25 9ep with a three-episode premiere event, just enough to pull you in but still leave you wanting more.
