Hilarious moment politics professor's cat interrupts live TV interview by leaping on his HEAD

The interview was not live, but reporter Rudy Bouma shared the snippet online and explained, "The Polish historian & political scientist Jerzy Targalski remained completely unruffled during our interview when this happened".

Despite the fact that pet interfered with the conversation with the journalist, Targalski did not stop and trying to hold the tail arm, he continued the interview.

Political scientist Dr Jerzy Targalski was busy analysing the political situation in Poland, amid a government crackdown on the country's independent supreme court.

Last weekend, a video surfaced on Twitter of Targalski being interviewed by Dutch news show, "Nieuwsuur", about the forced removal of Poland's top Supreme Court judge, when suddenly his cat, Lisio, chose to steal the show. Amazingly, Targalski was unfazed by his cat, even moving Lisio's tail out of his way when it covered his eyes.

Dr Targalski was giving an interview to a Dutch current affairs show ginger moggy Lisio hopped on his bonce. In an interview with Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Republika earlier this month, Lisio makes a more subtle appearance by sneaking behind Targalski for a nap. The producers did not use a soundbite from Targlaski when his cat was on his head, but did include a shot of him petting the kitty.
