Two days after his scooter accident and subsequent hospitalization, George Clooney was photographed boarding a private jet out of Sardinia, Italy with his wife Amal and their 1-year-old twins. Clooney had to be assisted onto the plane, and held on tightly to the railing as he boarded.

Italian authorities previously confirmed to ET that Clooney was involved in a traffic collision while riding his scooter near Olbia on Tuesday. According to TMZ, Clooney was riding the scooter at 60 miles per hour when a vehicle reportedly pulled in front of him near Costa Corallina in Sardinia. The impact of the crash saw the star smash into the windscreen of the auto, and reportedly fly six metres into the air.

Police told NBC News that the accident occurred around 8:15 a.m. local time when a driver of a auto allegedly "did not respect the right of way", cutting across Clooney's path and hitting him.

Antonello Viglino tells Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera he didn't see the star as he attempted to make a turn into a residential compound.

The star was taken to John Paul II Hospital in Olbia via an ambulance after the crash but was later discharged with minor injuries. After complaining of "a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and arm", he was hospitalized, where he underwent an MRI, La Nuova reports. Clooney is now filming a new series, "Catch 22", based on the classic novel by Joseph Heller.

"He is recovering at his home and will be fine", the rep said.

Thankfully, a rep for Clooney told ET that while the actor was hospitalized after the incident, he's now on the mend.
