A search of the Ivanka Trump brand on the website today brings up a blank page, but a google cache shows that there were a number of items on sale at the store yesterday afternoon, including dresses, jewellery, coats and tops, ranging from $20 to $220.

In America, the #GrabYourWallet boycott's founder, Shannon Coulter, applauded on Twitter Hudson's Bay Company for their decision.

A source familiar with the matter said the retailer, which has long offered everything from Ivanka Trump shoes to clothing and jewelry, notified the brand of their decision in the fall of 2017.

In February past year, the USA fashion chain Nordstrom said it had dropped Ivanka Trump's line of shoes and clothing.

The company says in a statement that it will phase out the brand at its stores throughout the fall.

Several major outlets, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Marshalls, have scaled their Trump offerings way back.

Coulter co-founded #GrabYourWallet to provide a list of companies still selling products or supporting President Donald Trump and his family's brands.

Ivanka Trump's fashion line has taken quite a beating since her father took office. "Terrible", President Trump tweeted on February 8, 2017.

In response to President Trump's tariffs, some Canadians have called for a boycott of American goods.

"When worldwide attention recently settled on the Trump administration for forcibly separating thousands of children from their parents immediately after the Trump administration imposed tariffs on Canada, that really put Hudson's Bay in the hot seat and kept them there for several weeks", Coulter wrote in an email to CTV News.

Along with its Canadian stores, Hudson's Bay holdings in Europe and North America include U.S. retailers Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor.
