Gal Gadot Joins Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet

Gadot will be voicing a new character named Shank, a ruthless race vehicle driver from an intense online racing game called Slaughter Race. This could be an overt reference to Gisele Yashar, Gadot's character in the Fast and Furious franchise, and the actress looks to certainly tap into that experience. Shank has a reputation as a tough-as-nails street racer, and Vanellope finds herself up against her.

"Shank is unbelievable at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her", Gadot added. "But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her". Gadot also posted a short video of her character, Shank, as she encounters Ralph and Vanellope during the movie.

Ralph director/writer Phil Johnston said about Gadot, "There's so much texture to her voice and so much living in her voice".

Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet will feature a number of Disney Princesses, including Mulan, Jasmine, Elsa, Tiana, Snow White, and more, and in a new image, we can see what happens after Vanellope's initial meeting with them. We wanted someone that Vanellope would look up to, and Gal is definitely someone kids-and a lot of adults I know-aspire to emulate.

Shank's approach to racing, and life in general, opens Vanellope's eyes to the limitless possibilities of the internet and the excitement of a new world that feels like home to her.

Ralph Breaks the Internet busts into theaters November 21. "I can't imagine anyone else embodying that part". Directed by Rich Moore ("Zootopia", "Wreck-It Ralph") and PhilJohnston (co-writer "Wreck-It Ralph", "Zootopia", writer, "Cedar Rapids"), and produced by Clark Spencer ("Zootopia", "Wreck-It Ralph", "Bolt", "Lilo & Stitch").

This latest photo from Ralph Breaks the Internet introduces Shank, a tough and talented driver in an intense online racing game called Slaughter Race.

Arriving in theaters for Thanksgiving, Ralph Breaks the Internet is the sequel to the 2012 animated hit Wreck-It Ralph.
