Tom Brady to have contract adjusted with big incentives

Tom Brady is the reigning NFL Most Valuable Player, and in the eyes of former NFL tight end Martellus Bennett, he is deserving of another distinction: the easiest quarterback to play with.

"We need to do pretty much everything better", Belichick said, as captured by WBZ's Joe Giza.

Brady has two years remaining on his contract.

The New England Patriots got their first taste of live game action Thursday night, and let's just say they didn't get off to the best start.

Drafted by Dallas with the 61st overall pick in 2008, Bennett spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cowboys, then played for the Giants, Bears (where he was a Pro Bowler in 2014), Patriots and Packers. "Where he wants you to be, where he's putting the ball, he does so many repetitions with you, mental reps, physical reps, walk-through, he's always letting you know. The communication between him and the receiver is on the highest level: What you like to do, what he likes to throw, if you ask him to do something he'll try it".

In 16 regular-season games with the Patriots in 2016, he caught 55 passes for 701 yards and 7 touchdowns. You come to work to play football, the only thing coaches should be talking to you about is football.
