First Two Episode Titles for American Horror Story Apocalypse Revealed

The first two episode titles from the highly anticipated series American Horror Story: Apocalypse were revealed today (via Bloody Disgusting) and the titles reveal a lot about how the series will be starting off.

American Horror Story is returning to FX this fall with its biggest season yet, and the first two episode titles have found their way online, teasing a wild start to the new installment. These new episodes titles certainly align with the theme of the upcoming season, confirming that the end times are near.

It was previously announced most of the returning cast members would come back for the eighth season, including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd, as well as franchise newcomers Joan Collins and Cody Fern.

If the premiere heads straight into the end of the world, it looks like the second episode will show what happens to everyone who's left alive.

The Emmy, Golden Globe and AFI Award-winning series from co-creators Murphy and Brad Falchuk aired its seventh season on FX previous year. "The Morning After" is directed by Jennifer Lynch with a script from James Wong.

Things got truly beguiling over on Murphy's Twitter account, where he unveiled a snap of Paulson, Rabe, and Nicks standing alongside fellow Coven actresses Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, and Gabourey Sidibe.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres on September 12 on FX. American Horror Story was renewed for two more seasons back in January of 2017.
