Apple looks on the bright side with new iPhones

Apple could release three new iPhones at Twitter-streamed live event

Apple is gearing up to unveil a whole new line-up of iPhones. It is rumored to feature a larger display, faster processor, improved battery life and more.

The company is in the unique situation of controlling the hardware and software in its mobile devices, with content for users required to go through its App Store that takes a percentage of revenue.

The names were discovered buried inside the code that makes up Apple's official website, just hours before Apple's iPhone launch event. YouTube, Facebook and other outlets could all bring new eyes to Apple events in the future.

However, this is one leak we can be sure of as Apple leaked the names of new iPhones on its website ahead of the launch.

The biggest iPhone ever is also expected to be unveiled, rumored to have a massive 6.5-inch screen.

A new set of photos has leaked that could hint at unique color options for this year's mid-range, 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. The strategy is working, helping Apple become the first publicly traded US company to hit a market value of more than $1 trillion earlier this year.

Apple´s event comes with the global smartphone market largely saturated, without a major catalyst for sales ahead of a likely rollout of 5G, or fifth generation wireless networks, expected in 2019.

The new iPhone line-up will reportedly feature a refreshed version of the hi-tech and dramatically redesigned iPhone X, which was first introduced previous year, alongside a larger-screen device and a cheaper iPhone, which will also feature the iPhone X's all-screen front panel and Face ID technology.

Other analysts have slightly different prices-$699, $969 and $1,069-but all are banking on Apple to raise prices again and deliver more revenue in the year ahead. Apple didn't leave video out though, as you can now record stereo sound on the iPhone Xs.

It would have an OLED display with richer colors, and Wall Street is targeting a price of $1,049 or $1,099 versus the current $999 base price for the iPhone X.

In the past, Apple has been a bit persnickety about which web browsers it would let access its Apple event live streams.

Numerous details announced Wednesday had already leaked before the event.
