Another change to be seen with the new iPad Pro renders is the lack of the physical home button, which has been done away with completely. As you've likely heard by now, Apple is expected to introduce a trio of new iPhone models, a lineup which will reportedly include a 6.5-inch iPhone variant of the current iPhone X (rumored to be called an iPhone XS) along with a 6.1-inch iPhone with a almost edgeless LCD display. For starters, the fingerprint sensor is missing, which indicates that Apple is going for their Face ID and the bezels are far smaller than any other iPads the company has released.

Also present is the Smart Connector magnetic connection on the bottom of the device that allows it to be connected to accessories like Apple's smart keyboard. The beta version had a setup UI to enable the facial recognition feature on iPad just in line with how one can enable Face ID on the iPhone X.

Apart from hinting at Face ID, the renders and the video made using computer-aided design inputs show that there isn't any notch on the frontal area.

The Apple iPad Pro is expected to be launched on September 12 along with three iPhone X variants.

September 12th is the data that Apple has penciled in to launch new iPhones and new tablets (and perhaps some additional hardware products). The power button is placed at the top edge with two speaker grilles on the corners. Sadly it doesn't look like there's a 3.5mm headphone port.

The source claims that the iPad Pro 3 12.9 might roughly measure 280.6 x 215 x 5.85mm (or 7.77mm including the rear camera bump), making it a fair bit more compact than the 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9mm iPad Pro 12.9 (2017), but the smaller bezels would account for that.

With just a little over a week until Apple's event, the rumor mill is not slowing down.

And given that Samsung recently announce its impressive Galaxy Tab S4 device, we feel Apple will want to take the tablet crown back. These renders are of the iPad Pro 12.9, and some specs are offered up along with the images.
