Because of the news, Nintendo has chose to delay the Nintendo Direct that was scheduled to air today at 3pm PST.

The presentation will last approximately 35 minutes and include "upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch titles", but other than that Nintendo has given no hint as to what games will feature. We will provide a new time and date in the near future. The magnitude 6.7 tremor has buried homes under landslides, caused millions to lose power, and inflicted at least eight deaths.

We should hear more about the Nintendo 3DS lineup of games, with the software library slowing down significantly since the release of the Nintendo Switch.

Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that they would be holding a big Nintendo Direct on September 6th. As of this post, the new time and date are still unknown.

The game appeared with its seemingly final name on the "You Might Also Like" section for games such as Super Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Bros. This preliminary listing entails iconic titles like Ice Climber, Tennis, Dr. Mario, Huge Mario Bros. three and The Epic of Zelda with Nintendo pledging to add more repeatedly. Do you hope to see it when the Nintendo Direct gets rescheduled?

In addition to that, the service is offering a Nintendo Switch Online App to "enhance your online experience for compatible games with this smartphone app". You'll be to watch it on Nintendo's YouTube channel, or below.

The Direct will nearly certainly feature Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC Torna ~ The Golden Country, Super Mario Party, and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! If we leave behind the uncertainty of the event's happening being truly reported, big reveals about the Nintendo Switch Online service might be in order.
