Xiaomi Releases AirDots Wireless Earbuds With Bluetooth 5.0

But at around $29, they're a lot cheaper than Apple's $159 product, which means losing them won't be as painful for your wallet. Similar to AirPods, the Mi AirDots have true wireless stereo (TWS) technology that splits audio in both earbuds to deliver a truly wireless experience.

Like with most other Xiaomi products, the AirDots are unlikely to be available outside of China.

As Engadget reports, they are called the Xiaomi AirDots, and it's not just the name that's similar to the AirPods.

Each earpiece of the AirDots Youth Edition weighs just 4.2 grams, and the in-ear buds are created to ensure that the earpieces do not fall off, Xiaomi commented.

Apple's AirPods wireless earphones are popular with lots of Apple fans, but the problem is that they are quite expensive.

The AirDots can provide you with 5-hours of listening on a single charge, and with their chargeable storage box, you can have your music up and running for as long as 12 hours on a stretch. Sales should start on November 11. The Mi AirDots Youth Edition ships with 7.2 mm audio drivers, which is capable of producing not only deep bass but also premium stereo audio. There isn't any physical button to control your playback. The battery capacity of the case should be sufficient to charge the headphones twice. The AirDots are priced at 199 Yuan (approx Rs. 2,100) and will be coming with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for wireless streaming. Apple also revealed previous year that it will release a wireless charging case for the AirPods, but the tech giant still hasn't given any details about its launch.

With just a finger touch in the touch zone, the users will be able to play or pause music, accept or reject call, enable or disable the voice assistant, and also mute an ongoing call.
