India on Friday chose to rest chinaman Kuldeep Yadav and fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Umesh Yadav for the third T20 global against the West Indies to be played on Sunday in Chennai.

The final match is set to be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on coming Sunday (November 11th).

India have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series having won the opening two T20Is quite convincingly.

"The Indian team management has made a decision to rest Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav from the upcoming third T20I against the Windies in Chennai".

The All-India Senior Selection Committee, meanwhile, has added Siddarth Kaul to the squad. Umesh played only the first T20I, taking 1 for 36 in four overs, and was part of the XI for the first two ODIs. Kuldeep Yadav, who picked up three wickets in the first match, was adjuged man-of-the-match for his performance.

This comes after India, powered by Rohit Sharma's century, registered a 71-run win against West Indies in Lucknow T20I on Wednesday.

The side is yet to test Shahbaz Nadeem, the uncapped 29-year-old left-arm spinner, who recently claimed the record for the best figures in a List A game.

Rohit Sharma (c), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Shahbaz Nadeem, Siddarth Kaul.
