The fire also forced the producers of Drunk History to shut down near the King Gillette Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

HBO told The Wrap that no cast or crew was at the Paramount Ranch location when it burned down. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the network said, "Westworld is not now in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there". "We do not have any details or photos, but it is our understanding that the structures have burned".

Journalist John Schreiber posted photos of the damaged area just minutes later.

The historic "western town" area in the mountains outside of Los Angeles, where projects like Westworld, Gunsmoke, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and many others were shot, has burned to the ground.

Aaron Paul talked to ET not too long ago, revealing that the upcoming season would not start its shooting before March or even April!

Paramount Ranch was one of the locations used during seasons one and two of Westworld, in addition to the primary location at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita.

However, depending on how the story would progress, it's not out of the question that the set being burned down could further delay the production. Westworld is not now in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there.

The sets, which have served as the home of projects like Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, American Sniper, and The Love Bug, has most recently been used by the HBO series Westworld. Most importantly, our thoughts go out to all of those affected by these disgusting fires'.
