Various tributes are planned for Saturday's visit of Burnley, Leicester's first home game since the death of Srivaddhanaprabha, whose leadership inspired the club to their unlikely Premier League title triumph in 2015-16.

Leicester return to action at the King Power Stadium on Saturday with football a mere afterthought as fans prepare to pay heartfelt tribute to the man who turned their dreams into astonishing reality.

The team, now 10th in the Premier League, returned to action last weekend, beating Cardiff 1-0 away, but on Saturday a capacity home crowd will have a chance to show their appreciation for the man who transformed their club.

Boss Claude Puel admitted preparations for the Burnley game had been hard after a 12,000-mile round trip but said it was important to the players to pay their respects.

Tribute T-shirts will be worn by the players during their warm-up and Khun Vichai's name will be embroidered on the team's match shirts during the first half.

The club plan to hand out commemorative scarves, pin badges, banners and souvenir programmes at Saturday's game, which has also been designated the club's annual Remembrance Fixture.

"We know our fans, they are fantastic. there were 3,000 of them at our last game in Cardiff, it was a fantastic reunion with the fans", Puel said.

He admitted getting the players ready for the game against struggling Burnley had been tough. "They have learned a lot about themselves in all this and I am proud of them all".

"Our strength, spirit and positive attitude, as well as the support of our fans, will be very important".

"Vichai was a great, respected person, both at the club and Leicester in general".

Chris Wood broke a 10-game goal-scoring drought when he netted in Burnley's recent loss to West Ham.
