Samsung is prepping a software update for its Galaxy Note 9 and a few other high-end handsets, though what it has in the works is more than just a new build of Android. According to a report by SamMobile, the beta update is now available in Germany and India.

Users in these countries can sign up and register to become a beta tester for the recently launched One UI, which the company showed off to developers at is developers conference in early November.

Samsung's Android Pie based One UI beta software features the firmware version number N960FXXU2ZRKQ and is really for registrations in India now. Today, after much wait, Samsung has announced the Samsung Note 9 One UI Beta program. Samsung on Tuesday officially began expanding its One UI Beta to Note 9 users In the U.S. Sources report that, Note 9 users in the United States, Germany and India can now download the beta. The new beta brings support for Unicode 11.0 emojis, new clock styles, general UI changes to aesthetic, Samsung DeX gets dual-display support, and of most of Samsungs stock apps get a new look.
