The Makers Of FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS Are Taking Us To THE OUTER WORLDS

This is the newest single-player RPG from Obsidian set in a brand new universe. A first-person shooter in a terrible universe that has seen capitalism run amok and infect numerous other planets, The Outer Worlds mixes the harsh materialism of society with a somewhat amusing look at the future. "It affects everything in the game - the setting, the characters, the dialogs".

Just as promised, Obsidian took to the stage at The Game Awards this evening to debut its latest RPG- The Outer Worlds. In case you weren't aware, The Outer Worlds comes from the original creators of Fallout, Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky.

The Outer Worlds will be releasing in 2019, so we'll be seeing much more of this game over the course of next year.

One of The Outer Worlds' more unique features is its "Flaws" system. In it, you are a part of a colonist ship heading to the far reaches of outer space.

"For example, if you continuously find yourself getting into scraps with Raptidons - "vicious space dogs", as PC Gamer describes them - you'll get a pop-up allowing you to take the "Raptiphobia" perk".

Bethesda has yet another new rival as the makers of Fallout: New Vegas reveal the first trailer for their new sci-fi game. What do you guys think of Obsidian's Outer Worlds trailer?

For now, you can keep track of the game's progress by checking out its dedicated Steam store page.
