The fiance of Kelsey Berreth, a 29-year-old mother who was last seen on Thanksgiving, has been arrested in Colorado.

Frazee was being held at the Teller County Jail. Greg Couch confirmed Patrick Frazee was arrested Friday morning in Woodland Park, Colorado.

Berreth, a licensed pilot and flight instructor, was last seen shopping at a supermarket with her one-year-daughter and police released surveillance video showing her entering the Woodland Park supermarket.

The investigation opened December 2 after Berreth's mother requested a police check on her daughter.

Sources told ABC that the investigation "unfolded rapidly in the last 48 hours, and police no longer believe Kelsey is alive". "This is completely out of character".

Police later received data indicating Berreth's phone was near Gooding, Idaho that same day, almost 800 miles (1,300 kilometres) from her home.

Surveillance video from the Safeway showed Berreth there with her daughter at about 12:27 p.m. on November 22, De Young said.

Family and friends started a Facebook page to spread and gather further information on her whereabouts.

Police Chief Miles J. De Young said in a statement Sunday that a search of Frazee's property was completed.

The reward for information leading to finding Berreth is $25,000, Woodland Park police said.

De Young provided few details at a news conference, declining to say what investigators were looking for or what prompted them to search that location.

Last week, Frazee's attorney, Jeremy Loew, said his client "continues to cooperate with law enforcement in the missing person investigation", ABC reported.

Frazee is focusing "on parenting the child he shares with Ms. Berreth", Loew said.

When police conducted a "community caretaker search" of Berreth's home on December 2, they found her suitcases, makeup and vehicles there, ABC News reported.

Court documents are now sealed in the case.
