It was reported here earlier today, via Wrestling Observer Radio, that Jericho's contract with AEW will be for three years, and he claims it is the best contract he's agreed to in the span of his career.

"Obviously, to start a wrestling company isn't the easiest thing to do, so there's a lot of work to be done", Jericho said.

Chris Jericho is confident that AEW will deliver when it comes to their television deal. I do know this, as much as the people that you saw on the screen on Tuesday at the rally that are being signed, there's a whole backstage element that's being signed.

While it is odd seeing Jericho on this table, the fact that he has signed an agreement with a rival company, any foreseeable comeback to the WWE universe has now safely reached a dead end.

AEW is the brainchild of another former WWE star Cody Rhodes - son of wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes - and The Young Bucks, an Indie sensation tag team. The two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion interrupted "Hangman" Adam Page during the rally, leading to the two arguing over who will be the first All Elite Wrestling World Champion.

During an appearance on X-Pac's podcast, Khan stated, per WrestlingInc: "I have spent some time with Bill, I really like Bill, a lot, and he's one of the greatest drawing cards ever in the business. We know them. But your average fan doesn't".

"By me joining the company, I think fans and wrestlers most importantly go holy sh*t this is the real deal", he explained.
