Game Of Thrones’ Season 8 Finally Has A Release Date & A New Teaser

HBO released another series eight teaser, entitled Crypts of Winterfell, alongside the official release date for Game Of Thrones on Sunday night and the fandom was shook.

In the long teaser, we see the three siblings Jon Snow, Sansa Stark and Arya Stark trying to find their way through the crypts of Winterfell.

But Entertainment Weekly warns fans not to get their hopes up for a full "Game of Thrones" season trailer on Sunday.

The final season of Game of Thrones may only have six episodes, but each of them is poised to make a huge impact. The six-episode season will begin on April 14, 2019, so if there is no break during the season, the series finale will air sometime in May.

It also included a quick teaser from the upcoming show, which fans have no doubt been eagerly awaiting.

The viewer hears messages their from dead family members Ned and Catelyn Stark as well as Lyanna Stark, Ned's sister and the mother Jon never knew.

Game of Thrones returns on April 14.

In the previously released look of the show, we had seen Sansa Stark interact with Daenerys Targaryen as a befuddled Jon Snow looked on. There is plenty to speculate on, but what we do know for certain is that Season 8 will consist of a mere 6 episodes, however, they will all be extended in length.

When the troika reaches the crypt's end, they come face-to-face with their own statues.
