Robbie Williams 'blasting' music to upset Jimmy Page

Robbie Williams reportedly blasted loud music by Led Zepplin's rivals during his basement renovation feud

"The pair had been at loggerheads ever since Williams submitted plans for a basement gym and pool at his £17 million West London home five years ago".

A feud between pop star Robbie Williams and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has reportedly turned nasty, with the Take That star accused of blasting his neighbour with music by 70s rivals Black Sabbath in a row over building work at his Victorian mansion.

The 74-year-old Mr Page was anxious the excavation could damage his 1875 Grade I-listed mansion in west London where he has lived for more than 40 years.

It also states the singer has played Pink Floyd and Deep Purple songs at high volume, knowing "this upsets" the Led Zeppelin star.

The correspondent adds that Williams has also dressed up to imitate Plant by "wearing a long hair wig, and stuffing a pillow under his shirt in an attempt to mock or imitate Mr Robert Plant's beer belly that he has acquired in his older age".

"Plant was remembered for performing with his shirt open on stage, and obviously he cannot perform in this manner in his current condition, as it would be very embarrassing".

As you might have heard over the last couple of years, Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page are neighbours who don't exactly see eye to eye.

The BBC also reports work can not begin on Williams's home until councillors receive reassurance vibration levels and ground movement issues will be monitored.

But Williams - through a spokesperson - has denied the accusations, telling The Telegraph they're "a complete fabrication and nonsense".

Representatives for Williams previously said any construction work would fall within stringent regulations and any effects on surrounding properties would be "negligible".
