This latest leak, however, coming from case maker Spigen, is pretty much guaranteed to be the real deal. The smartphone is said to be the successor to the Huawei P20 Pro which launched in March past year.

While we don't know a huge amount about the Huawei P30 range yet, we have heard some things.

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are set to launch in March 2019, according to a report from Polish site Telix.pl, via TechRadar. On the other hand, the P30 Pro packs a quad-camera setup at the rear while there is an LED flash lying adjacent to the second sensor at the right side of the sensors. This should provide a better loudspeaker performance compared to the Mate 20 Pro's hidden speaker located inside the USB-C port.

Huawei look to be sticking to their winning formula and have shrunken the notch instead of trying to lose it just yet. While the teardrop notch on both models house a single selfie shooter, the P30 has three camera sensors at the rear with an LED flash under. No traditional fingerprint sensors are to be seen in any of the leaked images, implying that they may be of the in-display variety, which comes as little surprise. Interestingly, if you look at the bottom view of the P30 cases, there's an extra cut-out hole next to the USB-C port.

As is often the case with renders, the date displayed on the phone subtly reveals the date for announcement. The telling detail is the date shown on the lockscreen which gives us a March 28 reveal.
