Diana Ross, 74, knocked her Grammy Awards performance out of the park on February 10.

Ross' first solo Grammy nomination was for Best Contemporary Vocal Performance-Female for the hit "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" at the 13th Grammy Awards in 1970.

"Thank you for being here to celebrate my 75th birthday", she said to large applause. She then took her place on a circular stage among the crowd and delivered a little inspirational speech, telling the audience in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, "Together we have no limits". "Happy Birthday to Me!" she exclaimed after concluding the performance.

The Grammys said on its Twitter feed, the "very special Grammys performance" was meant to honor Ross' "landmark career and contributions to music".

The Academy previously honored "Diamond Diana" with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
