Report: Toronto Raptors to sign veteran point guard Jeremy Lin

The Toronto Raptors earned another impressive win, beating the Brooklyn Nets 127-125 behind Kawhi Leonard's game-winner.

D'Angelo Russell scored 28 points and had a career-high 15 assists for Brooklyn. Gasol, who spent his first 10 1/2 seasons of his National Basketball Association career with the Memphis Grizzlies before being traded to Toronto last week, learned that lesson before the Raptors played the Nets.

But Crabbe later hit back-to-back 3-pointers to tie the game with 1:34 remaining at 120.

Raptors guard Fred VanVleet was not available.

He suffered the injury in the second quarter of Saturday's win in NY.

ESPN reports point guard Jeremy Lin is finalizing a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks to allow him to sign with the Toronto Raptors.

Jim Tanner, one of Lin's agents, confirmed the pending move to The Associated Press.

Leonard scored nine points in the second but Harris made two more from long range, giving Brooklyn a 60-56 lead at halftime.

OG Anunoby's steal and layup in the final second of the third quarter tied the game at 92. Coach Kenny Atkinson said Carroll should return Wednesday at Cleveland.

Marc Gasol added 16 points - 11 in the fourth quarter - for the Raptors, who have won five in a row. Musician Sting attended the game.
