World No.1 Naomi Osaka has ended her successful partnership with coach Sascha Bajin. "Hey everyone, I will no longer be working together with Sascha", Osaka wrote on Monday night.

"Thank you Naomi I wish you nothing but the best as well".

Osaka's agent confirmed to The Associated Press that Osaka would no longer be coached by Bajin but said there would be no further comment.

" Thanks to my team, I don't think I would have made it through this week without you". What a ride that was.

The Japanese 21-year-old, whose win in Melbourne sealed back-to-back Grand Slam titles, worked with the German for just over a year. "Thank you for letting me be part of this", he said.

Under Bajin's guidance Osaka rose from number 72 to the top of the world rankings within a year, taking out back-to-back Grand Slams at the USA and Australian Opens.
