F1 in 2019: Max Verstappen debuts deceptive Red Bull RB15

The team revealed their auto via Twitter earlier today and have sent Verstappen around Silverstone to show us what it looks like on track.

Red Bull have dished out a new and refreshing livery for the winter testing next week.

"So our objective very much is to try and be more consistent across all of the circuits, and hopefully with more horsepower than we had past year will only help to lessen that gap".

"I'm very excited to just get started with the engine", Verstappen said.

Verstappen completed 39 laps with the team reporting that the auto ran "faultlessly".

"Up until Australia you can't really set goals - it's a bit blind".

The four-times champions have switched engine supplier for the new season.

The former world champions launched their 2018 auto in dark black and blue colours before reverting to their traditional look for the start of testing.

And in 2015, Red Bull's winter look was even more radical, the team initially running their new vehicle on track in a camouflage livery in a bid to hide its aerodynamic secrets.

What can we expect from Red Bull in 2019?

Red Bull has released the first images of its Honda-powered RB15, launching the 2019 auto in what the team describes as a one-off livery.

Honda is hoping to profit from retaining the same power unit concept for a third straight season - the first time it has done so in the hybrid era, having abandoned its 2015/16 layout for its 2017 campaign with McLaren.

Renault and Red Bull broke ties last season largely because of the reliability issues that Red Bull were facing.
