Netflix is in talks to distribute the movie, with Delroy Lindo and Jean Reno also in negotiations to star.

Da 5 Bloods follows a group of African-American Vietnam veterans who return to Vietnam and learn to come to terms with each other while they search for the remains of a fellow soldier and hidden gold. There are also rumors that Samuel L. Jackson, Giancarlo Esposito, and Don Cheadle would join the cast, but it seems unlikely since there are only four male leads. I was told that he chopped down the cherry tree and wouldn't tell a lie.

In addition to directing and co-writing, Lee will also produce Da 5 Bloods with Beatriz Levin, Lloyd Levin and Jon Kilik.

You won't even have to leave the house to see it: Lee is reportedly joining the long list of filmmakers who are choosing to work with Netflix.

"BlacKkKlansman" director Spike Lee made reference to explorer Christopher Columbus during an interview Wednesday morning by describing him as a "terrorist" and saying that he thinks the United States needs to be truthful about the country's past. "BlacKkKlansman" is the filmmaker's biggest domestic box office performer since 2006's "Inside Man".

Lindo has worked with Lee multiple times, including the films Clockers, Crooklyn and Malcolm X.

Boseman has a busy year ahead in 2019 as well, likely returning as T'challa/Black Panther in Marvel's Avengers: Endgame (despite the events of Avengers: Infinity War) and starring in 17 Bridges with Taylor Kitsch and Sienna Miller, opening in July. He's represented by Greene & Associates Talent Agency and Management 360. Lindo is repped by APA.
