Kim Kardashian has been sued over her Kimoji app, by the app's developer.

Emojis of Kim Kardashian West could be worth US$300 million (NZ$430m), according to a new lawsuit.

Kardashian West did not respond to a request for comment.

So, on July 15, 2014, Kardashian-West reportedly called Liebensohn and Rice in Oklahoma, and agreed to meet in person in Calabasas, California on July 28, 2014.

Kim Kardashian has disclosed that her husband Kanye West is very involved in her looks, often making comments about her makeup.

David has also claimed that he named the Kimoji app, but Kim was the one to register the trademark.

According to the lawsuit, from January to June 2014, Liebensohn, Shankar and Rice, created the app called "CensorGram".

Kardashian West liked CensorGram and reached out to App Social to talk about a potential investment.

However, the lawsuit says things took a different turn shortly after. Now they're claiming that Kardashian West ran away with the trademark and never shared the profits.

It appears that West has been so impressed by Dedivanovic's work on Kim that he even tried to lure the artist back to Los Angeles from NY, a Fox report reads.

He is now suing Kardashian-West in Oklahoma federal court for at least $100,000 million for fraud, the money he believes he's lost, and breach of partnership agreement.

Kardashian West's lawyer, Marty Singer, told TMZ the lawsuit is "ridiculous". Kim commenced an arbitration in December 2018, and after Mr. Liebensohn was unsuccessful in stopping the arbitration he filed this meritless lawsuit.
