"We are doing everything necessary", said Netanyahu, as he inspected Israel's Iron Dome aerial defence system.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent out a rallying cry to Arab nations at a USA -sponsored Middle East conference in Poland on Wednesday, saying he planned to focus on the "common interest of combating Iran". "What is important about this meeting-and this meeting is not in secret, because there are many of those-is that this is an open meeting with representatives of leading Arab countries, that are sitting down together with Israel in order to advance the common interest of war with Iran".

Speaking to Netanyahu, bin Alawi said: "People in the Middle East have suffered a lot because they have stuck to the past".

As The Daily Wire has previously reported, Oman has played an outsized role in Netanyahu's post-Iran nuclear deal diplomatic outreach efforts with the Arab world.

Netanyahu's surprising October 26, 2018, visit to Oman marked the first time an Israeli leader publicly visited the Gulf state since 1996.

While in Warsaw, Netanyahu was also expected to meet with US Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, as well as Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. And how they always get made when we say this?

"We're trying to expand the number of nations who are engaged and have a stake in the future of a peaceful and prosperous Middle East", Brian Hook, the State Department's special representative for Iran, told Reuters.

Before broadening the agenda, the USA initially told allies the meeting would focus on Iran, a bête noire for national security adviser John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, both of whom have advocated for regime change in Tehran in the past. "But Netanyahu and Gulf countries are eager to focus on Iran".

Iran has denounced the conference, which began Wednesday, as an American anti-Iran "circus" and Russian Federation said it would not attend.

Wednesday's conference is co-hosted by the US and Poland and its official focus is Mideast peace and security. In a joint op-ed published Wednesday morning on CNN's website, Pompeo and Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz wrote that the summit will deal mainly with the civil wars in Syria and Yemen, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and other security-related regional matters.

"The European Union alone does not, in my opinion, carry sufficient political weight to try to really influence the situation in the Middle East", he told reporters.
