O’Neil It’s time for LSU to sit Will Wade

The report states Wade was frustrated that a third party didn't accept Wade's "offer", and a verbal committment to LSU was delayed despite Wade saying he made a "strong-ass offer."

"I was thinking last night on this Smart thing", Wade said.

The latest report regarding LSU coach Will Wade's alleged involvement with former agent turned convicted felon Christian Dawkins dropped just minutes before Wade's tip-off luncheon at L'auberge Casino.

The tape doesn't reference any specifics about the "offer" or whether it violated NCAA rules, according to Yahoo Sports.

"I went to him with a [expletive] strong-[expletive] offer about a month ago". "I'll be honest with you, I'm [expletive] exhausted of dealing with the thing".

The 2017 phone call reportedly included Wade being upset over a third party involved with the recruitment not having accepted his "offer" yet. "Like, this should not be that [expletive] complicated".

"The problem was, I know why he didn't take it now, it was [expletive] tilted toward the family a little bit", Wade continued. Now I know for a fact he didn't explain everything to the mom.

Wade, who attended a public event Thursday, says his players have been good at blocking out distractions and focusing on basketball, and that is how he expects them to move forward. Per Yahoo, LSU declined comment ahead of the publication of this story, but athletic director Joe Alleva has previously said that the school will cooperate with the NCAA if necessary on any issues. "I know now, he didn't get enough of the piece of the pie in the deal". Koprivica eventually committed to Florida State but announced on Twitter on June 21, 2017, that he received a scholarship offer from LSU.

U.S. District Court Judge Lewis A. Kaplan sentenced former Adidas executive James Gatto to nine months in federal prison, former Adidas consultant Merl Code to six months and Dawkins to six months, per Law360.

The first transcript was read aloud during the first college basketball corruption trial.

Wade never denied speaking with Dawkins, but told the media last fall, "I have never, ever, done any business of any kind with Christian Dawkins", per Yahoo!
