This week has been sensational for BTS: the band broke YouTube's one-day viewing record, notching 78 million views for their collaboration with Halsey and 2 million comments. Released on May 18, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST, it took "Fake Love" about 10 months, 26 days, 20 hours, and 7 minutes to reach this number.

The K-pop boy band superstars showed American audiences just how powerful the ARMY - that's what their fanbase is called - really is.

BTS made their historic Saturday Night Live debut April 13, delighting viewers with a performance of their latest single, "Boy With Luv", off their new album Map of the Soul: Persona, as well as fan favorite "MIC Drop". That demolished the previous record, set just a week ago by K-pop girl group Blackpink's Kill This Love, which had 56.7 million views in its first 24 hours to top Ariana Grande's thank u, next.
