The trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was officially unveiled overnight, and yeah, yeah, look, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself here, but I've been waiting for a good single-player Star Wars game for a very long time, and holy shit, this one could actually be it.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC November 15th, 2019.

Following the release of the teaser of the movie Star Wars: Episode IX - Rise of Skywalker a day before, we finally have a trailer for the upcoming Star Wars game.

Expect a confirmation of the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order release date.

The lightsaber seen in the promotional art won't be discussed as it's "integral to the story" but might not belong to Cal, so that could be a hint of an older Star Wars character being in the game. After Order 66, an event that occurred during Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith declaring all Jedi traitors to the Republic, Cal is forced to abide by three new rules: Don't Stand Out, Accept The Past, and Trust No One. Cal must learn to survive while hiding his Jedi identity from Imperial soldiers looking to hunt down any survivors. Respawn is also expected to reveal the specific story details behind Fallen Order, namely who the protagonist is, what type of gameplay elements players can expect to see, and what types of Force-related abilities players can put to work. He'll be joined on his adventures by BD-1, a companion droid who shares a strong bond with the runaway Jedi, as well as a mysterious ally named Cere. The Second Sister, an Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire, appears to be a main antagonist with the role to kill Cal.

What we know for sure is that Fallen Order will be a singleplayer experience, Respawn having previous confirmed this.

Fallen Order will be a single-player third-person action game with a focus on lightsaber combat and force powers. The studio was closed down in this process which, after the controversy surrounding Battlefront II's microtransactions, has left EA in a worrying position and in much need of a win.

More recently, EA pulled the plug on another singleplayer Star Wars title that was in development at Visceral Games.
