Kit Harington Says He 'Doesn't Give a F*ck' About 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Critics

"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington says he almost lost his manhood - well, at least a part of it - while filming a wild scene in the Season 8 premiere.

The episode was largely a table-setter in the style of most other season premieres, although with a few bigger bits of information and sequences, like Jon riding a dragon and him learning of his true parentage.

Harington, who plays Jon Snow in the popular HBO show which began it's eighth and final season on Sunday, revealed in a behind-the-scenes clip that nearly lost his right testicle while filming the scene where his character rides one of Daenerys Targaryen's (Emilia Clarke) dragons.

"Buck work is not easy", he began.

"In my head, I thought, "This is how it ends, on this buck, swinging me around by my testicles, '" Harington says, before being met with 'contained laughter", according to the Game Revealed subtitles. Having a mechanical dragon swing you around by your testicles is particularly bad news.

I say usually because, as Kit Harington knows all too well, every now and then a particularly physically demanding scene can go wrong, and all of a sudden you're not just standing on some iceberg in Iceland muttering about iron thrones - you're being whipped around by your own testicles. But for any critics who dared to slam the departing episodes, Kit had some words of warning. "I know how much pressure people put on themselves and I know how many sleepless nights working or otherwise people had on this show". Because they cared about the story.
