Yesterday, The Mobile Indian spotted the listing of Redmi K20 with its key specifications.

The new flagship device will be running on a top of the line Snapdragon 855 processor and Redmi even imply that it will be a "Flagship Killer 2.0".

Redmi which is now an independent sub-brand under Xiaomi is about to release its first ever flagship smartphone. And the upcoming smartphone could be the rumoured Redmi K20 Pro that's scheduled to launch in China on May 16. However, in his congratulatory tweet, he informed OnePlus and the world that a new flagship "in town". Flagship Killer 2.0: coming soon. "Hold my dragon! - at Xiaomi India". With this new release, Xiaomi is looking at the opportunity of competing with OnePlus and is pitting its flagship against the latest OnePlus 7 release. However, there were no clear indication regarding when these smartphones will make their way into the country. Xiaomi also mentioned the Redmi K20 to support Android Q Beta 3 update out of the box.

We have been coming across teasers regarding these phones for the past few weeks but it is only now that the India Head has revealed a seemingly official confirmation about the first Redmi smartphone with the most powerful Qualcomm chipset till date.

On the camera front, the upcoming flagship Redmi K20 will house a triple rear camera module with a combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. While the Redmi K20 comes in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB storage options, the Redmi K20 Pro will be available in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage options.

As per earlier leaks and reports, the Redmi K20 is said to have a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging. It is also confirmed to include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a super-wide-angle camera.
