Netflix has announced that it'll be hosting a panel at E3 called "Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games". What can attendees expect to learn during the discussion?

Netflix announced their panel through a series of well-versed tweets between their and E3's Twitter accounts, hinting, alongside confirmation of their upcoming Stranger Things RPG game, due to arrive on July 4th, that 'there's definitely more to come!'. There are even rumors floating around that the Telltale Stranger Things game could be shown off despite the studios closure. But, Netflix also explicitly uses the term "video games".

Netflix already has an established library of popular titles to choose from when it comes to video game adaptations, and several of its shows immediately come to mind as strong candidates for getting the game treatment.

So we might see some more games inspired by Netflix shows revealed at E3, but I wouldn't be surprised if we heard more about its interactive streaming ambitions, too.

There's an animated Fast & Furious show coming that's aimed at kids, so a racing game based on that wouldn't be too far-fetched.

The Umbrella Academy seems tailor-made for a co-op superhero fighting game.

It looks like Netflix is making a committed step into the gaming market. While we're unlikely to see any press conferences quite as big as EA or PlayStation's get added at the last minute, we are seeing some exciting smaller announcements cropping up.

This year's E3 festivities kick off on June 11th and conclude on June 13th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
