The CW has unveiled the first-look trailer for its forthcoming superhero series Batwoman, which stars Ruby Rose as Kate Kane in the time after she was dishonorably discharged from military school for engaging in a relationship with her fellow cadet Sophie Moore, played by Meagan Tandy.

In addition to that photo showing Kate Kane and Luke Fox conversing in front of the badass suit, we're granted an official look at Ruby Rose standing near her character's motorcycle.

While a premiere date has not been announced for the series, The CW has revealed it will air Sundays at 8 PM. The show will air on Sunday nights at 8/7c.

Gotham City can't seem to catch a break from the villainy.

A new Caped Crusader has arrived.

Ruby's signature pixie cut was styled high and blown out slightly to one side and she rocked glowing skin with fresh-faced glam. The plot has Kane's father, Jacob Kane, stepping in with his private security firm, Crows Private Security, to send his daughter away from the chaos swallowing up the city, and to safety. Years before, Jacob's first wife and daughter were killed in the crossfire of Gotham crime.

Kane isn't quite ready to be a hero yet, though, with the series following her overcoming her own demons, 'before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope'. Television with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Caroline Dries, Geoff Johns, and Sarah Schechter.

Following the untimely death of her mother, a brilliant teenaged detective swears off crime-solving until a socialite is murdered, and she finds herself a prime suspect in the crime, along with a group of other teens present at the scene.
