Manchester United plot double raid on Premier League rivals for defenders

Wilfried Zaha is willing to re-join Manchester United in a big-money deal this summer after Arsenal were priced out of a move for the Crystal Palace winger, according to the Telegraph.

The Sun believes that the Red Devils are planning a £50 million raid for the two Palace defenders, with Wan-Bissaka high on the club's summer wish list.

Which club should sign Zaha?

However, Zaha feels he is ready for the challenge of representing a leading club and explained in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mailin Aprilthat he has more to offer.

The Red Devils are now on their lowest ebb since the inception of the Premier League, having finished an astounding 32 points behind champions Manchester City.

"So I'm not surprised now Wilf wants the opportunity to ply his trade someone else". And not ambitious just to play for a top club, but to win things at club level and with the Ivory Coast.

"For me to be better, to achieve what I know I am capable of, I have to aim to play at the very highest level, to win trophies".

"I'm blessed to have come this far in my playing career".

"I've answered that question [whether Palace can retain their star players] so many times", he told a press conference (via Goal). And I'll do the rest.

Borussia Dortmund made inquiries into Zaha during the January transfer window, having identified him as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic.

Palace's position is strengthened by the five-year contract the forward signed last summer, and if the club can secure the £100m fee being demanded, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will receive a welcome boost to his transfer funds. But the English-born Ivory Coast worldwide has proved his doubters wrong, and in some style, playing with verve, fearlessness and dominating opposition defences in recent seasons.

Zaha has been in top form in the past few seasons and in the recently concluded campaign, he scored 10 goals and also provided 10 assists in 34 league fixtures under the management of Roy Hodgson. Zaha has made his intention to leave Crystal Palace known to chairman Steve Parish.
