Here's how much Manchester United will have to pay for defensive target

Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bisakka is open to joining Manchester United, who are determined to sign the Englishman this window, according to the Times' Sam Pilger.

Palace are not prepared to sell their academpy product on the cheap, however, with the club hierarchy valuing Wan-Bissaka at £70m.

The England Under-21 worldwide is thought to be interested in a move, although he has not submitted a transfer request.

Sportsmail revealed last week that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has his heart set on the Palace right back but saw the club's initial £40million bid rejected by the Eagles.

Palace's board may be reluctant to relinquish such a big talent but even they, along with Hodgson (a purist who has overseen many young players move to the next level), will not stand in Wan-Bissaka's way, so long as the youngster wants a move and the bid is strong enough.

Sky in Italy are reporting Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo could be involved in a deal for the Italian champions to sign Paul Pogba.

It is also understood Juventus' sporting director Fabio Paratici has travelled to United's London offices to hold talks over the potential transfer of Pogba, who moved to Old Trafford from the Turin club in 2016 for a then world record transfer worth £93.25m.
